This afternoon, Ronnie Fieg, you’re favorite Asics collaborator, gave his 2,000-plus Twitter followers a sneak peek at one of his yet-to-be-released Gel Lyte III creations. Ronnie posted the picture, left it up for a Jimmy Choo Sandalsminute, and then quickly deleted it. Although we weren’t online at the time to snag a look, we managed to track down the photo from a Twitter’er who saved the image. The Gel Lyte III’s, seen in the hands of a lovely curly haired brunette, are shown in aChristian Louboutin Ankle Boots tropical-like shade of Blue which we’re sure Ronnie has some special nickname for. The hue is applied throughout the entire upper with subtle accents of White applied to the trim around the Asics stripes. As far as release details go, Ronnie isn’t even sure yet. One of his Tweets after posting the sneakers read “For everyone who’s asking about the next release date on the new Asics. I really don’t know yet. The shoot is coming this week.” At that time we should learn what in fact Ronnie has decided to dub these Gel Lyte III’s.
